Lead Party Host - Weekend

Paper Street Play is looking for an enthusiastic Lead Party Host - Weekend. The ideal candidate is energetic, able to provide great customer service, think quickly, and has a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+

• Candidates must have previous regular experience working with children & caregivers (ie. camp or daycare), working on a team, and be computer proficient (Google Drive, iPad/Macbook, Wix is a PLUS)

• Organized with an eye for design and attention to detail

• Customer service professional with friendly phone manner

• (Preferred) Looking for a career in working with families and/or events

 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a safe and organized environment for children

• Check in customers and use register

• Birthday party/event preparation, set up and clean up 

• Attend to party hosts and guests; food handling required

• Assemble favors and other items for events

• Clean and sanitize toys & play area

• Opening and closing

 

Availability & Rate

• Starting September

  • Paid training​

• Saturdays & Sundays

  • Shifts will be 4 or 7 hours (with a break) between the hours of 9am-7:30pm; Some Fridays possible between 3pm-7pm

  • Typically 11-15 hours per weekend, flexible scheduling

• Rate: $16 per hr + tips for parties

  • Tips usually range between $20-$40 in tips per party (Yes, that's an average of $20+ per hour)
